A new statement has been made by WhatsApp regarding the mandatory update decision, which caused reaction. WhatsApp, the messaging platform within Facebook, said, “What will happen to your account if you do not accept the privacy policy?” answered the question.
According to the statement, accounts that do not accept WhatsApp’s new privacy agreement until this date will be able to see messages and calls to their accounts for a few days, but will not be able to use the app to read or respond to them. Accounts that do not approve the contract will be ‘inactive’ for 120 days, during which time these users will be given the chance to return and accept the new contract.
If the user does not accept the contract at the end of 120 days, that is, if the account is not reactivated, it will be automatically deleted.
