Privacy Policy

What data this site processes, why, and your rights under the GDPR.

Last updated: 15 September 2026. This policy explains what personal data followeron.com processes, why, and what rights you have under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG).

1. Controller

The operator of followeron.com (see the Imprint). During the current test phase you can reach us through the contact form.

2. Hosting and server logs

This site is hosted on servers in Germany (Hetzner Online GmbH, Gunzenhausen). When you open a page, the web server automatically records your IP address, date and time, the page requested, the referring page, browser type and operating system. These logs are needed to deliver the site securely and to detect attacks (Art. 6 (1) f GDPR — legitimate interest) and are deleted after 14 days at the latest.

3. The tools

Calculators, generators and planners run entirely in your browser. What you type is not transmitted to us. A tool may store your last inputs in your browser’s local storage so they are still there on your next visit; you can clear this at any time through your browser settings. Where a tool needs a server request (for example a future AI feature), the tool page says so before you use it.

4. Contact form, email and WhatsApp

If you contact us through the form or by email, we process the data you provide (name, email address, message) to answer your request (Art. 6 (1) b GDPR). The form is protected against spam with Google reCAPTCHA; see section 7. Messages are kept as long as needed to handle the request and then deleted, unless legal retention periods apply. The WhatsApp button opens a chat with us in WhatsApp; WhatsApp (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.) then processes your data under its own privacy policy.

5. Advertising (Google AdSense)

Tool pages may show advertising delivered by Google AdSense (Google Ireland Ltd.). Personalised advertising and the related cookies are only used with your consent, which you give or refuse in the consent banner and can change at any time via the “Privacy settings” link in the footer (Art. 6 (1) a GDPR, § 25 (1) TDDDG). Without consent, only non-personalised ads without tracking cookies are shown, or none at all. Google’s information on data use: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

6. Statistics (Matomo, self-hosted)

We measure how the site is used with Matomo, which we run on our own server in Germany, configured without cookies and with shortened IP addresses (the last two bytes are removed). No data is passed to third parties. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) f GDPR — our interest in understanding which tools are useful. You can opt out at any time via the “Privacy settings” link in the footer.

7. Spam protection (Google reCAPTCHA)

Forms and the login are protected with Google reCAPTCHA, which analyses your interaction with the page (IP address, behaviour, browser data) to distinguish people from bots. Provider: Google Ireland Ltd.; the data may be transferred to the USA under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) f GDPR — protection of the site from abuse.

8. Fonts and embedded content

All fonts are hosted on our own server; no connection to Google Fonts or other font services is made. Where a page embeds a video (YouTube in privacy-enhanced mode), the provider only receives data when you start the video.

9. Newsletter and waitlist

If you join the Autopilot waitlist or a newsletter, we store your email address and the time of sign-up and send a confirmation email (double opt-in). You can unsubscribe with the link in every email. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) a GDPR.

10. Customer accounts and purchases

Nothing is currently sold on this site and no customer accounts are created. Should paid services be introduced, this section will describe the data processed for contracts and invoicing before any purchase is possible.

11. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and to object to processing based on legitimate interest, as well as the right to withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future. To exercise these rights, use the contact form. You may also lodge a complaint with the data-protection supervisory authority in your EU member state.

12. Changes

We update this policy when the site or the law changes. The current version is always available at this address.
