Twitch income is a stack of small streams: subscriptions (split with Twitch), Bits (100 Bits ≈ $1), ads (paid per thousand impressions during your stream) and sponsorships (usually priced on concurrent viewers). Enter your channel numbers and see what the month looks like — and how much the Partner Plus 70/30 split would change.

How this calculator works

Subs: Tier 1 $4.99, Tier 2 $9.99, Tier 3 $24.99 (US pricing) × your split (50%, 60% or 70%). Prime subs pay like Tier 1. Bits: 1 Bit = $0.01 to you (viewers pay ~$0.014). Ads: impressions ≈ concurrent viewers × stream hours × ad minutes per hour × 60 ÷ 30-second slots, paid at a $2–5 RPM. Sponsorships: $0.50–$2.00 per average concurrent viewer per sponsored stream.

Frequently asked questions

How much is 1,000 Bits worth?

$10 to the streamer. Viewers pay about $14 for 1,000 Bits; Twitch keeps the difference. Cheers below 100 Bits per message are common, so Bits income is mostly many small tips.

How much does Twitch pay per subscriber?

A Tier 1 sub ($4.99) pays the streamer about $2.50 on the standard 50/50 split, $3.00 at 60/40 and $3.50 at 70/30 (Partner Plus). Local pricing in cheaper countries pays less.

How do I qualify for the 70/30 split?

Through Partner Plus: keep 100 sub points for three consecutive months for 60/40, or 300 sub points for 70/30 (Tier 1 = 1 point, Tier 2 = 2, Tier 3 = 6; Prime subs don't count). The better split applies to the first $100,000 per year.

How many viewers do I need to make $1,000 a month on Twitch?

Typically 50–100 average concurrent viewers with an engaged community: roughly 150 subs plus Bits, ads and one sponsorship gets there. Streamers with 20 viewers usually earn $100–300.
