Frequently asked questions
What size are Instagram grid tiles in 2026?
Instagram switched the profile grid from squares to 4:5 portrait tiles (1,015 × 1,270 px on screen) in 2025. Posts are still cropped from your uploads: 4:5 uploads fit perfectly, squares and landscapes get cropped at the sides or letterboxed.
Are my photos uploaded anywhere?
No. The planner reads the files with your browser's File API and draws them on your screen. Nothing is sent to our servers, and closing the tab removes everything.
How do I plan a consistent feed?
Pick two or three recurring visual patterns (a colour, a framing, a text style) and alternate them; keep faces every second or third tile; check the grid before you post rather than after.
Can I schedule posts from here?
Not yet — export the preview to keep the order and schedule in your usual tool. A scheduling feature is on the roadmap for Follower ON Autopilot.
